MIrza Ghalib

This movie depicts the life of the once-wealthy poet, Mirza Ghalib. It portrays his trials, tribulations, triumphs, ultimate descent to poverty, and then to prison. Once during a presentation of his poems at the courtroom, Mirza Ghalib feels unappreciated, when he does not get the deserved recognition. The story also focuses on his tragic and ill-fated love with a beautiful courtesan, Chaudhvin, who changes his life when he realizes that Chaudhvin appreciates each word he writes, and is so much in love with his poems, that she keeps reciting them.
